Arent Releases PlantStream Ver.1.0.35, the Latest Version of Its AI-Powered 3D CAD Software for Plant Design
Introducing "AI Auto Fix" to Automatically Correct Routing Errors Using AI.
ACCE-Compatible File Export Now Available as a Standard Feature!
Arent Inc. announces the release of PlantStream® Ver.1.0.35, the latest version of its AI-powered 3D CAD software for plant design, jointly developed with Chiyoda Corporation.
This update introduces AI Auto Fix, a new optional feature that uses AI to analyze and correct errors remaining after auto-routing, re-route piping, and verify the results. A separate dedicated license is required to use this feature.
In addition, ACCE Export is now included as a standard feature, allowing users to generate input files for Aspen Capital Cost Estimator (ACCE) directly from PlantStream's 3D models. This makes it easier to utilize 3D layout data for early-phase cost estimation.
With these enhancements, PlantStream expands its capabilities beyond automated piping routing to support post-routing error correction and data transfer for cost estimation.
AI Auto Fix: AI-Powered Correction of Errors Remaining After Auto-Routing
In plant piping design, errors such as piping clashes and pipe creation failures may remain after auto-routing. Resolving these issues often requires engineers to repeatedly check route settings, make adjustments, and re-run routing operations.
The newly introduced AI Auto Fix feature automates this process by using AI to analyze routing errors, apply corrections, re-route piping, and verify the results.
The AI analyzes route settings, applies corrections, and executes re-routing. If errors persist, it attempts the next correction proposal as needed.
The feature covers unresolved routes, pipe creation failures, direction / continuity errors, and interference.
Key Features of AI Auto Fix
- Uses AI to analyze and correct multiple errors remaining after auto-routing in one batch
- Reduces repetitive setting checks and re-routing operations
- Allows the entire batch of changes to be undone with a single Undo operation
- Exports a list of changed branches to CSV
By supporting correction tasks that previously required individual review and manual intervention, AI Auto Fix helps shorten the path from an auto-routed model to a clean, review-ready design, improving engineering efficiency and reducing design time.
Availability of AI Auto Fix
For security reasons, AI Auto Fix is provided as an optional feature, separate from the core PlantStream software. The feature is not available unless the option is enabled under a separate agreement. All existing standard PlantStream functionality remains available as before.
- AI Auto Fix is not included in existing standard licenses.
- A separate dedicated license and the necessary license agreement procedures are required.

ACCE Export: Connecting 3D Models Directly to Cost Estimation
PlantStream Ver.1.0.35 now includes ACCE Export as a standard feature, allowing users to generate input files for Aspen Capital Cost Estimator (ACCE) directly from PlantStream models.
Using mapping files and an ACCE template, the feature exports Pipe and Pipe Rack data in an ACCE-compatible format.
Previously offered to selected customers as a separate trial application, ACCE Export is now built into PlantStream as a standard feature.
Key Benefits
- Connects 3D layout data directly to early-phase cost estimation
- Reduces manual quantity transfer into ACCE
- Enables faster cost estimation during Pre-FEED / FEED
- Improves data consistency between design and cost estimation
By making it easier to transfer engineering data to downstream processes, this feature helps bridge the gap between design and cost estimation, supporting greater efficiency across plant engineering workflows.

Additional Enhancements to Auto-Routing, External Integration, and Usability
In addition to AI Auto Fix and ACCE Export, PlantStream Ver.1.0.35 introduces several enhancements to routing, external integration, visualization, and performance.
Route Assist Enhancements include improved PipingLayer routes within equipment structures, as well as a new option to reduce unnecessary detours and elbows around nozzles. The update also introduces the "Allow Detaching as Much as Possible" option.
Other enhancements include:
- Shelter export to E3D/PDMS, S3D, and SDNF
- Smoother operation with large NWD models
- 256 user-defined element colors
- Individual color settings for 8 E&I cable path types
- Slope Verification (Experimental)
The new Slope Verification (Experimental) feature allows engineers to compare the bottom-of-pipe (BOP) elevation calculated with slope conditions against the modeled pipe BOP on screen.
By displaying the sloped BOP and modeled BOP at each checkpoint, the feature supports quick verification of sloped piping before handover.
