PlantStream Presents: Version 1.0.34!

July 10, 2026

PlantStream Version 1.0.34 marks a significant step forward in plant design automation and interoperability.

This release introduces targeted capabilities designed to reduce manual engineering effort, improve layout compliance, and seamlessly connect PlantStream models to downstream platforms across the engineering ecosystem.

Equipment Spacing: Reduces layout rework and accelerates HAZOP-ready deliverables.

PCF File Export: Export industry-standard PCF files from PlantStream to CAESAR II, Plant3D / CADWorx / OpenPlant and ISOgen. One model — full end-to-end data continuity.

PlantStream → S3D Structure Export: Export structural data (columns, beams, braces, expansion slabs) from PlantStream directly to Smart 3D via SDNF.Along with these other new type of equipment & Structure elements are also added to PlantStream library.

With these enhancements, PlantStream Ver. 34 delivers a more integrated and efficient engineering workflow, enabling faster project execution, improved design quality.

Equipment Spacing

● Eliminates manual spacing checks
● Reduces layout rework
● Improves design efficiency and compliance

Define spacing categories and visually verify equipment clearances against safety and company standards directly in the 3D model. Quickly identify and correct spacing violations with customizable clearance requirements.

PCF Export

Export piping data in PCF format for integration with downstream engineering applications.

Currently validated for Isometric Drawing generation. Planned integrations include stress analysis (CAESAR II) and detailed engineering environments (Plant 3D / CADWorx / OpenPlant).

● Enables end-to-end data utilization from layout to isometric output
● Built for continuity across the full engineering workflow

Direct Structure Export: PlantStream to S3D

● Streamlines structural model transfer
● Eliminates manual structure recreation
● Improves design consistency and efficiency

Export steel structure data from PlantStream to Smart 3D using SDNF format. Structural elements such as columns, beams, braces, slabs, and grid systems are automatically created during import.

SHELTER

Shelters can be designed using a parametric approach. By adjusting properties such as roof shape and wall dimensions, users can quickly create simplified models.

● Equipment Shelters: Covering pumps, compressors, analyzers, etc.
● Operator Shelters: Providing weather protection near process units.

New Equipment Type: Lug Support

● Apply by setting the Support Type to “Lug”
● Enables quick modeling of vessels supported by structural members

A Lug Support option has been added for Vertical Vessels.

And many more!
