About this Seminar

Plot Plan Study is one of the most important steps in building plants. The task of a Plant Layout Engineer is to combine all design principles to develop the optimal plant design.

Traditional plot plan studies are conducted using 2D drawings, which can consume considerable time and limit layout options.

With PlantStream’s Auto-routing and Block Pattern function, among other features, MTO reports can be generated with an initial 3D plant model.

This capability allows Layout Engineers to conduct various layout studies in a 3D model and compare MTO data to generate the most optimized plant design.

Quick modeling feature of PlantStream can perform other 3D model representations such as maintenance study and hazardous area indication, which are also within the scope of a Layout Engineer.

Speakers

Edward Ellema

Technical Consultant

After graduating from University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines with a degree in BS Mechanical Engineering, Edward started his career in Chiyoda Philippines as a Cadet Engineer where he started to learn and grow as a Piping Engineer, gaining layout design and construction knowledge. He moved to Japan and joined a sub-contracting engineering company where he continued to work as a Piping Engineer and Mechanical Handling Engineer. Edward joined PlantStream as a sub-contractor in 2022, then formally joined PlantStream as Technical Consultant in April 2024 with a task to help PlantStream development and bring this solution tool to every companies.
