Leadership Transition Announcement

March 17, 2025

PlantStream Inc. announces a change in its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective March 17, 2025.

Seitaro Narue, who has served as CEO, has stepped down, and Takehito Miki has been appointed as the new CEO. Miki has played a key role in driving our business growth as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) of Arent Inc., our parent company, while also serving as our Chief Operating Officer (COO). As CEO, he will strengthen both the development and sales functions, leading the company towards further business growth and innovation.

Additionally, Takashi Oda, who has been serving as Co-CEO, will now assume the dual role of Co-CEO and Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

PlantStream Inc. was established in 2020 as a joint venture between Arent Inc. and Chiyoda Corporation, focusing on the development and sales of the 3D CAD software “PlantStream®.” With Arent Inc.’s acquisition of Chiyoda Corporation’s shares, PlantStream Inc. has now become a wholly owned subsidiary of Arent Inc. This transition aims to accelerate decision-making and enhance management efficiency. While Chiyoda Corporation will no longer be the parent company, PlantStream Inc. and Chiyoda Corporation will continue our technical partnership, leveraging the expertise of both companies to drive innovation and further advance the plant engineering industry.
